The purpose of this assignment was to continue to improve on our photography and photoshop skills while using  our photographs in a more commercialized way. I included both the original advertisement and my copycat advertisement.

Shooting Exercise 11: Film Stills

The purpose of this assignment was to continue to improve on our photography skills while using tone, lighting, and mood to create movie-like photographs. My movie is titled Snow. This movie is about a snow day after a fresh layer of fallen snow.

 

Event Documentation Project

The purpose of this assignment was to continue improving on photography skills learned throughout the semester. Documentation and collaboration were important aspects of this assignment. I chose to photograph the Alpha Xi Delta Blue Out football game for my event.

Shooting Exercise 10: Stranger

The purpose of this assignment was to photograph people who we do not know while continuing to improve on our photography skills. To photograph this assignment, I decided to go to Brookfield Square mall on a Sunday morning.

The purpose of this assignment was to use scale in different and interesting ways while still improving on our shooting skills.

The purpose of this assignment was to tell a story or narrative through a sequence of photographs while continuing to improve on shooting skills.

Shooting Exercise 7: Abstraction

The purpose of this assignment was to work in abstraction while still shooting in a series and improving on editing skills. With this assignment, my main focus was on different textures. I decided to make these photographs black and white so the color doesn't distract from the textures.

The purpose of this assignment was to start to use photographic skills in a commercial or editorial way. I chose to take this cheeseburger and french fries from the PIT and make it look unappetizing and greasy.

The purpose of this assignment was to begin to look at my photographs in a series rather than individual   shots and gain confidence behind the camera, while still using shooting and editing skills.
